Spring and fall are the best times to fish for Largemouth Bass. Bass move in shallow water, to find warmer water, for spawning and food. Try fishing in shallow water on cloudy days or in murky water. Flipping the lure is a good technique to use in these conditions.
When fishing for Walleye, use small spinnerbaits in more shallow water. Fish from sundown to midnight , particularly during the heat of the summer and deeper as the sunrises. Walleye are less active in cold water. The trick to fishing for Walleye is to know how deep to fish based on the water temperature.
